getting ready,still raw from my afternoon with sd xxx
dress,shoes,hair and make up ... really felt staying in,sleeping dreaming...
but i had to,i miss my friends,dancing and the feeling of being out there...
mr f told me to be careful enjoy and be very careful on the way home xxx
sd said the same and more... xxx
and so i went...
it was a silly journey trains were not running and actually thinking half way to turn back,but carried on.
got there and seeing all of them dressed in the costumes felt really fun.
almost all were there but some friends didnt make it...
chat chat to everyone,everyone saying my dress was nice but i wasnt in costume :P
is first time they saw me with new hairstyle so my friend that i will call ms s kept saying .oh you look
lovely as always,no hair out of place,and gorgeous dress and you look like 20!!!!' pffff that bit i dont like lol!!!! looking 20 yrs old :P
my bestfriend was there i will call ms vv with my good friend she is with now looking good as usual..
usual questions,how you've been?how mr f?hows your son,work? etc etc
before the nigh i was chatting online with ms vv and she was worried that her partner i will call mr jwill be bored to death as he is not a dancer,i understand how she felt so suggested maybe he shuld not go,she said you know he is friends with all you guys specially bday girl so he wants to be here for he...
and so the story goes...you are a salsa dancer,you dance with your salsa partner ALL the time practicing routines until you are ready to dance with other people...everyone the same some they marry their dance partners or date them or you commit suicide and date a non dancer lol
its all well and good if the partner will be very open for you to dance with others,if he is a non dancer because this is what it is about,,,learning rigorous amounts of time,routine to get where you want to be
as a latino dancer...
then when you are ready to get out there and dance your heart out...YOU REALLY DANCE...
i had 2 salsa partners,one bachata and one coluumbian style..eveerything else was taught by maestro g...
bachata partner went back to his country,columbian style partner now has a gf...
the funny thing is,when they have partners from salsa normally than not its their women who wont let their men dance with others anymore!!!!
yes it is a very sexy and sensual dance and you need to be comfy with whoever your dancing with...
but you have to be open in learning all the time and that means you must dance with other people too.
i realized how different our lives are now last night, ms vv used to actually teach with our teacher,she was very trim and up to now she is gorgeous as well,,,
but because of the happiness of being with mr j,her life now is routine,she gained weight,she wanted to dance more but last night she was more worried that mr j is bored!!! i said to her when we got the chance to chat alone,he is so bored you shouldnt have brought him here...she said i know i know...so
basically they were both boring each other to death! and i dont underrstand,she wanted to dance but she wont because she felt she had to stand there with mr j doing nothing!!!
there wasnt anyone that mr j wanted to chat with so that was that...
my columbian style partner was there,i waved to him hello but i didnt go dance with him,for the simple
reason,his salsa gf is with him,,,and i was warned before hand not to dance with him by friends there as she wont allow him out of her sight,wont let him speak to women and apparently she wanted to know who he was dancing with as a partner before and obviously that was all ME haha ;)
but i understand and i wont want to be the boil of contention for both of them so i stayed away...lol
so i waited to dance...
when i did i let the music carry me,as light as snow in day,thinking of the next move,careful not to fall from turning twice then 5 then 8times :)))))) then spinning around as i turned :)))) holding my dance partner by the end of his fingertip,the only security i have not to fall but i let him lead me and in return i spin and do that wonderful routine ....thank you mr i for the wonderful dances i had last night!!!!
all eyes on the dancers,before i dance with anyone,i observe how this man will behave in that split second before he asks for my hand to mambo....i watch him,where he will turn me,what footwork he is starting with and then i know what to do....
there are those who can dance,there those who try to dance and there are those who just plainly cant...
and ofcourse there are the bastards,twats and arrogant ones lol
i have danced with hundreds of men since i started dancing , lovely expiriences...
some men they dance with their heart and soul some they plainly dance to show off...
i remember my other dance partner,when we dance he would say what to do then he let me follow,
there were times i remember fondly he said'what do you think your doing?' i said' i beg your pardon?'
he said,your brain is not here and your heart is somewhere else excpet this dance!!!!' i laugh it off but he wont take any nonsense lol
he would constantly remind me when i am slacking,feet wrong!!!
posture is wrong,turn is wrong,timing is wrong,,,,
then there is my maestro,,,oh gawd is he strict or what?? but in a good way... we must not smoke or drink and must always be clean and hygiene is very imporant when we do class...infact up to now all my friends dont drink alcohol or smoke!!!!
right dancing shoes...my lovely lady teacher said to me,,you need character shoes how can you dace like that your not trained yet,,,,?i started wearing my own heels to dance after i was good enough :)))
so i wore the right dancing shoes until i was ready...my teachers were so good none of us had any accident when dancing and some even do shows now...
i taught a good friend of mine to salsa and sent me a msg thanking me for making him dance and now he does shows :)
when we go to dance at venues i was always asked where i learned to salsa ,,,and how come i dance the way i do??? some one said to me last night it dont look like you never danced for a while!!!! i smiled and thought to myself...
actually i never went away,,,in some way i am dancing all the time turning that turn like flying ....as light as a feather and i know i am a salsa dancer forever xxxxx
